A car on the front row would've been a lot better for morale. Bottas always fluffs the start when he's on pole or Hamilton will just find a way past him anyway. And expecting an Imola type start from Max is very unrealistic. He should just aim for damage limitation this week, no silly moves. Anything that's not a Mercedes 1-2 is a good result. I agree with Marti I think the race will be a complete snooze

How it can be unrealistic ? They've made good start at dry at first race and superb start at wet. So they solved start issue. This not mean they can overtake mercs at start but for sure expecting it is not unrealistic. RBRs are just behind mercs with two car and as how it was in imola, when they had good start merc driver must defend against two RBR not one. This will make it harder for them. At start and during race.

Ooof, they just compared Max’ 2 Q3 laps, his second lap was good enough for pole bar section 3. 2 cars, especially Vettel, clearly in the way. Stupid team decision to put him in to traffic, out lap was compromised too imho. To be honoust Max maybe slightly overdrove too in one corner but it was an operational mistake also. Now the pressure is on. Again.

Seriously, who is in charge at red bull for checking out event notes? They clearly weren't aware of track limits in T14 being monitored, something that was added in final race directions notes (V3). This has now cost them extra point in Portimao as Verstappen's fastest lap was deleted and maybe even race win in Bahrain when they weren't aware you could extend T4 during the race. Something that Hamilton was keen to exploit for extra laptime.

I think Honda underestimated the competition they need to give Honda powered cars more power they are known to be conservative. Rbr works better in high temperatures tracks.if you can’t get the tires to work it’s always going to be a challenge.
