There used to be the idea that you could run a tyre gently and then let it cool and it would give it slightly better life - effectively heat curing it to make it a little harder. Perhaps Hamilton did something like that. Very strange.

I’m fine with swearing per se and do it a lot, but just think it sets a really bad example to any young people watching and shows a lack of self control. These guys are meant to be role models.

Just grow a pair mate .. no, they're not role models, they're drivers in sum sort of elite league.
Kids won't die because of a bunch of swearwords, they'd better be hardened a bit for the world that's coming.

This is very common with most race tires.

In spec classes with spec tires, we’ve had tires that were fastest on their 3rd and 4th heat cycle.

Laps are faster than Q2, so what are you on about? Some drivers dont have 2 sets of new softs and are slower because of it.
