Legendary Max. Congrats to Verstappen. It's sad that Red Bull is still not on the level of Merc, hopefully they can improve in the season.

I’m fine with swearing per se and do it a lot, but just think it sets a really bad example to any young people watching and shows a lack of self control. These guys are meant to be role models.

Just grow a pair mate .. no, they're not role models, they're drivers in sum sort of elite league.
Kids won't die because of a bunch of swearwords, they'd better be hardened a bit for the world that's coming.

Anyway, good chunk by RB .. but only Q2 where it doesn't count.

That gap is nothing. IMO the Mercs and the Bulls are pretty much equal on ultimate pace.

Congrats to Lewis for 100! Can't wait for tomorrow's race.

Also, interesting in his interview he's talking about having to make adjustments to his driving due to a setup change they made.

Laps are faster than Q2, so what are you on about? Some drivers dont have 2 sets of new softs and are slower because of it.

I dont understand why you think it's slower? It seemed pretty stable from late q2 up to the end. Ever since quali mode ban times from q2 to q3 dont change whole that much. Mercedes was 4 tenths faster in q3, so where's the problem?

Slower form first Q3 run to second Q3 run obviously.
How did I know? Look for fine details.

We will have to agree to disagree on the that, but I definitely agree that was a fantastic session. This season has really delivered so far!

At the time you wrote that it was just the end of first Q3 runs, dont be coy. Some drivers did improve on seconds runs.

Perez still getting used to the car.
No evidence to suggest Perez is faster in Valtteri in qualifying though. Quite the opposite.

To be fair, I don’t think Max put a clean clean lap in, as neither did Hamilton. Plus, wind was a bit interesting in the final run. Neither of the expected top 4 drivers improved!

I didn’t see Max’s last lap, but his first was pretty much spot on. If anything, Lewis had some room for improvement on his pole lap in the end.
