I’ll say it again. Get that idiot off the track.
Mazepin is a liability and shouldn't be on the track. He doesn't have enough spare capacity to know what's going on around him.
If you are more fortunate than others, build a larger table not a taller fence.

Hamilton will get Verstappen after his later pitstop. Just wait and see. Tyre + inherent pace advantage will be enough.
Track position is king at this track.

Yeah, shame it was a few laps too late.

I’m holding my opinion until I see how this plays out. Lewis is on fresher tires than Max and is a tire whisperer.

Bottas is back in play now, and Sergio isn’t. So Merc has options.

I agree. It may well pay off to have kept him out longer but surely he would have exited the pits ahead had they immediately followed. We shall see!

He's basically a gte am driver in le mans. Just waiting for a big incident caused by him this year

Not really. Had Verstappen not pitted hamilton would overtake him down the straight. Late call to pits prevented that, but now the game is up.

Is the Merc better than the Rd Bull on the medium?

Over one lap, maybe / maybe not. In a race, possibly.

What I don’t get is that he got a bollocking, grid penalty and penalty points just last weekend for exactly the same damn thing. He is clearly just really dense.

We watching the same race? He was catching at more than 1s per lap.

Yes, but Max knew he had to look after his tyres, and he knows that Lewis has to pass him on track. And we know how difficult that is.

Yes, but you dont let hamilton sit in your drs for half the race if you can help it. That's all they got.

I think it might just be a capability thing. Maybe he’s just having to use too much of his capacity on keeping the car on track to be able to process and react to the flags as he should.
