RedBull will move mountains to keep Max.

It used to be said that Max will stay as long as RB give him a car he can fight for the championship with. This 2021 season has turned that notion on its head. Team Verstappen now realizes a challenger is not enough to dispell frustrations. Such a car is still too dependent on variables outside of the driver's control. Only a dominant car will truly keep Max interested post 2021. If RB cannot. He will be off to whichever team has the fastest car in 2022.
No one is going to know who has the fastest car until they get to the first test of 2022 though, and by then it's too late to do the seat shuffle for that season. That's why I think he stays there until at least the end of the 22 season. He has to really. If he left Red Bull after years and years at the same time they produce the best car on the grid, it would surely be one of the stupidest mistakes in the recent history of the sport.
Meant to say after* 2022 season has run its course.

Definitely agree on that count! He’ll be looking for a move. Whether he gets one he wants is another matter.

Would be able to start a club with Alonso though!! 😝
Favourite driver: Lando Norris
Favourite team: McLaren

Turned down the chance to meet Vettel at Silverstone in 2007. He was a test driver at the time and I didn't think it was worth queuing!! 🤦🏻‍♂️

Bottas to Redbull will be my prediction. Perez is already signed for next year, and Bottas nearly left for Renault this year if rumours are to be believed.

It makes a lot of sense, he will bring with him a lot of inside info on both the team and the driver.

If we are doing predictions from the outfield, Stroll to Merc, Russell and Occon to AM. Bottas to Williams, unless a 'name' buys out Haas and he heads it up.
When arguing with a fool, be sure the other person is not doing the same thing.

Would be cool to see Bottas against another driver. I know He will be at Merc for 2022. His feedback is aboslutely crucial. After that he will be a free agent. Alonso will be at Renault, for 2022, and possibly 2023, so Renault is out for Bottas. Williams though. Williams is a good team to be in, with all those ex-VW staff. Don't forget that VW ID-3 was basically the fastest car on the planet over a lap. I also see Bottas going to Aston Martin.

Yep, I do agree that it makes sense for Bottas to stay at Merc, especially when there is a big set of rule changes. I also think that a lot of people will have to re-evaluate their view of Bottas. He is a great driver, just stuck against probably the best driver the sport has ever seen.

Well, Red Bull Racing will put a two or three year deal in front of "free agent" Russell, so it is up to Mercedes-Benz whether they want to counter that deal or offer a contract to Bottas instead.

To still not offer Russell a contract would understandably force Russell to defect to the Red Bull fold.

(Unless Perez improves dramatically it is very unlikely Perez would be renewed.)

Ricciardo is lucky he has a solid contract, any other driver getting lapped by teammate on a car that is at best 4th quickest is a nail in the coffin.
Funny how he has pushed Sainz out of race seat twice already.
Maybe Mclaren will release him next year if he does not pick up.
Bottas to Redbull is now a real prospect.

Bottas to Mclaren? Finns work well at McLaren.

Why would RB want Bottas? He's been getting lapped by his team mate just the same so should be "nail in the coffin" there then, right?

Hmm how did i miss that. Mika is one of my favourite. If Danny can't get close to Lando, I can see him get replaced by Bottas.

My guess is Russell to Mercedes and Bottas back at Williams, with a story that due to the new investments and regulations it will be 2014 all over again.

maybe lewis can buy stakes in williams and put his "wingman" there? nice payback and bottas definitely deserves a drive at williams.
