Ferrari had a great amount of luck today. Lando had the speed to beat them. Daniel the team is losing patience. He better deliver in the next 2 races. Excuses are over.
I thought you were the one losing patience. The team have been nothing but supportive.

I see a lot of people saying this was a brilliant qualifying... but that was dreadful, I want to see cars going around a circuit, not in the walls

This was supposed to be our best track along with Monza and Spa. We could potentially fight for pole here. Now, we are not only behind Ferrari but behind AT too. Besides that, we have only 1 driver delivering on performance. Our fight for 3rd is over.
Over? 6 races into a 22 race season? One iffy qualifying session and let's just give up and go home.

Honestly...
No. Our closest competitor took pole on what is supposed to be one of our best circuits. They have a better car and a driver pair. Thinking we will beat them is believing in fairytales.

 I’ve never seen so many emotionally imbalanced and unreasonable responses after one chaotic qualifying lol

For all the hype of us on low drag, we haven’t actually looked like getting pole here whatsoever and our lack of mechanical grip versus teams like Ferrari is being exposed more than anyone was prepared to admit earlier in the year.

Monza is more our track this year.

The crybabying about Ricciardo and “our fight for 3rd” being in tatters is ridiculous- it’s a long season and we will be in the mix and so will Ricciardo based on all evidence we know about him.

Who even cares if we get third or not- it would be nice but I tell you what would be nicer? Getting next year right and setting ourselves up for 5 years of competitiveness.

Looking forward to tomorrow because there will be chances!

Don't be so dramatic. It's race 6 of 22. Nothing is lost or won now.

- Points aren't given on a Saturday, as you know.
- There is no guarantee the Ferrari will be faster over the course of the whole season.
- Our closest competitor last year, y'know that pink one, probably had a faster car for most of the year too. Many people spent the whole of 2020 complaining about how unfair Tracing Point's advantage was and that we had no chance against them. Hmmmm...

But by all means, give in to the gloom and doom barely a quarter of the way through the year. Championships are won by giving up when you have a tough day, right?

Deep breath guys. Lando was 1/10th from pole on a track where a tow counts for 6/10th and didn't get a single clean run in. The car has speed. It's also an easy track to pass on with high attrition. All to play for tomorrow

Kind of obvious given the 100 attempts they had to do in Q1.

So frustrating that it takes so long to investigate, will Norris get a penalty or not?

I have to say its likely... lets just hope it's not to severe, now I look at it, its pretty straight forward I do think he quite a bit of time to get into pit, obviously when your travelling in a F1 car its a totally different matter, but rules are rules
