This forum contains threads to discuss teams themselves. Anything not technical about the cars, including restructuring, performances etc belongs here.
It's crazy that these cars can't overtake even in the longest straight of the calendar. If there are no overtakes here, then where the --- else can you overtake.
The race will finish under Safety Car... P7 and P9... Not great, but both cars n the points and Leclerc dropping from Pole to 5th and Carlos dropping behind Lando is not a bad result after yesterday’s qualifying... A shame that we couldn’t get Yuki on track
That is the result of today's Formula 1. Cars that are hard to pass even in a huge straight and only one tyre manufacturer and everyone are doing their prayers not to get any tyre blowups.
Pace wasn't so bad. Several cars were within an inch of each-other. But apparently these cars suck at keeping up through S2. The long straight is useless because you drop back massively before you arrive at it. Aston got the strategy on point with Vettel today. Maybe McLaren should have tried to go late as well, but hey, they didn't have the power of hindsight when they made the decision.
On the other hand, we might actually get a 2-lap race here after the red flag. Kind of worried. The result right now, while not amazing, it's certainly not bad either considering the circumstances. Would be a shame to lose out.
