I think this is going to be Red Bull P1 and P2 in qualifying and the race. Their car just seems to have all of the bases covered. The only question is who gets P3 on the podium.

I think so too. RedBull one-two. They have always heaviliy invested in setting up their car for their home race. I can see RB dominant as usual. Three wins in a row on the trot in different kinds of tracks. I am expecting it to continue if Mercedes stubbornly continue without upgrades. Only rain can give Merc a chance.

@Topic.... Is this the Styrian or the Austrian GP?

How will the weather be?
If it's hot i hope its helps ferrari. bit. Higher temps may also suit redbull in the long runs.
Bottas may outqualify Lewis here. I dont think Hamilton goes well here.
A suprise for me would be if Perez is on pole.
For Sure!!

As usual? Wasn't this a dominant victory for Mercedes just last year? I just watched the video and this is exactly what RBR have not been able to do just once this year. Not even at Baku (where it did got close to this scenario, admittedly).

I think Alpha Tauri might be my Dark-Horse podium choice with Pierre.

Have we had an All RedBull podium before??

I'm just hoping for a rain race. No predictions outside of RedBull winning again.

Norris had a P3 and P5 here last year, so McLaren should go well again. I'm hoping for another podium at either of the two weekends.

It has to be said, you can see Merc switching on party mode in Q2 already while Honda f.e. only did that in Q3 and was worth only .5 seconds while Merc's was worth a full second. Albon already got party mode in Q2 as well it seems.

So yes, only based on that it will likely be a lot closer.

So this weekend is C2-3-4 tyres- what do they do the following weekend- a step harder or a step softer?

Red Bull will hammer Merc on the softer one but I think Merc will be closer on the harder compound weekend.

Softer next weekend. Just one step.

I think they’ll be fine with the tires in both races given the track surface abrasiveness and forecast.

In Monaco and Baku they had the hardest compound. So that suits Red Bull well.
