Why did Ricciardo bail out of his good lap on the mediums? They went onboard with him, he was purple S1, 0.1 off S2 and then he just lifted off for no reason in the last two corners.

You've gotta love the SkyF1 team talking about driver relative pace.
Apparently Lando is definitely up the front, becuase we'll count his deleted lap (but not everyone elses), and Daniel is down the bottom because he was on worn tyres, not because he didn't set a proper lap.

Makes me wonder where could we have been had we been let to make the changes to the car fitted to a Mercedes Engine. Daniel has to step up the pace. That was not an acceptable time. Is he still struggling with the car?
