The fastest lap point is, ya know, fine with the current cars, but it would (hopefully ‘will’ for next year?) be much more interesting when the leaders don’t have pit stop gaps to put on fresh tyres. If everyone’s pushing for it on the final lap on used tyres, that will much better.

Great race, can't believe the Ferraris today. Shame about Gasly and RusseIl. I think RB strategy will have to not be happy with the decision to pit Perez.
It wasn't a great race. It was dull as ditch water.
I might be blessed to watch the F1TV feed, but they at least always had one box on one of the Ferraris or on Riccardo or Raikkonen. Certainly lots to watch!

Edit: in case people aren't familiar they have 3 live video feeds and commentate on all 3 simultaneously

Not the most exciting race but Ferrari delivered a bit of entertainment! Happy for Perez as well, he could be helping RB to decent victory in the constructors, defo earning his seat.

Lewis going with the ‘engine upgrade narrative’ again. Sore. Whining about straight line speed while he himself had a dominant car for 7 years 😅🤣
They can say whatever they want, up to them, but are they really being ignorant of the difference in rear wings?

Yes, if you were limited to the SKY standard feed, you'd have been as bored as the rest of us. Can't get F1TV in the UK thanks to SKY's deal with Bernie back in the day.

For a team who have won so much, Mercedes have got to be the worst sports. Whenever they lose they try to throw mud at the other team and what they have on the car. They always make themselves out to be underdogs fighting against the odds, despite having had a huge advantage for so long.

It would be nice to hear them just say “well done to the other team, they’re doing the better job, fair play”.

You need to understand the difference between whinning and stating the obvious, i can understand his haters have been traumatised after seven years of tears  But frankly speaking as a Merc fan didnot expect them to dominate so long.
But its the comments like above makes me think that glad it happened :D

What Lewis said was
"We need an upgrade aero, enigne or something else which would help us catch them"
I dont see where he was crying, rather some trolling here

This. Mercedes is still the best car on race pace on most tracks.
Race pace is meaningless if Merc doesn’t have track position (worse over 1 lap), subpar pit stops or strategy. Besides, we’re talking at best a tenth or so difference - this is a rounding error in terms of delta required to pass in these regs.
Seen Spain, Portimao and France races?
Ready to review your stance? RB was better on all fronts today.

He said twice about loosing on the straights. I am not complaining, they can say whatever the like, just pointing it out to you.

You didn't miss much. Boring race after the usual first lap trip ups.
Next weekend there will be no MotoGP but I don´t know if I´ll watch another Austrian GP, then. I guess people better hope for some heavy rain.....

Just hope next year´s regulation turns so good(brings close racing) that they are forced to get rid of DRS

Like I said, I am not complaining, just pointing out the obvious to you. Take your bitterness somewhere else please.
