Bear in mind that both Mercs were in dirty air, and Hamilton was pushing quite hard in his second stint (he left Bottas in the dust) before dropping off to maintain the ability to 1-stop.

I only saw blistering on Hamilton’s right front tire near the closing stages. I only heard him report that front right blistering on the radio, as well. I didn’t see/hear about any rear blistering, as the rear tires are where Mercedes have had the degradation advantage this year.

As an aside, blistering is less a function of general degradation and more a sign of a temporary overheating on a specific section of the surface tread.
Maybe have look at both Merc drivers after Lewis did his fastest lap of the race? Several laps later I saw a footage of the rear en of Lewis' car. Several laps after his fastest lap you could the tire wear.
I seriously doubt that. He pitted for Softs 2 laps from the end.
You are correct. This was bullsh..t. I meant his fastest lap on the hard tyre. 1:08.362.

Alonso,
"I had no conversations with Mercedes," he insisted, when asked by Onda Cero radio if Alpine was his only option for 2021. "There were some talks with Red Bull.
Bet Honda were thrilled.

Great possibility that merc got the set up wrong last week. They seemed very strong. Max lap looked like he was on the edge. But is was still not good enough.

Red Bull, specifically Max was desperately holding back the pace. :) Situation isn't different than last week, Max has clear upper hand. =D>

And what makes you say this?
True GOATs don’t need the help of superior material to win.

Tom Brady, Usain Bolt are true GOATs.

No, it's not gonna be even close. The gap has actually extended and there will be at least 3 tenths in Q3. Don't fall for typical Friday sandbagging.

Max has the ability to be on it 100% from the word go. Hamilton has shown us that he wasn't quite on point last time out. That has closed the gap, however we don't know if Verstappen still has another level he's not showing just yet. In combat, exposing a weakness to your enemy encourages them to pounce, that offers you an opportunity to counter, if he fails to read the counter, strike.

I doubt Red Bull has shown their hand, probably drove around with a detuned engine.
I also saw a map with pace difference showing Lewis was fastest on the straights, that's a bit suspisious.
