Mercedes is the faster car again this weekend. Those times set by Ham and Bottas are so fast.

Interesting. What a turn around, if true.

Jup, remember all those ‘championship is over’ comments from last week?

Mercedes solved their set-up and are fastest car again, like they were on normal tracks before the street circuits.

Unless we missed a major mistake of Max on his lap ofcourse

True GOATs don’t need the help of superior material to win.

Tom Brady, Usain Bolt are true GOATs.

Although I believe Redbull is still the fastest car at this track, it will be interesting to see if Mercedes are running less wing, like Redbull did last weekend and this is where the extra pace has come from.

They are testing two new wing configurations by the looks of it, so I guess they may have just messed up the selection last week.

Was there any drop in track temperature? Definitely seems much cooler weather than last weekend.

FIA hasn't uploaded the FP1 laptime data yet. Any other website out there that provide laptimes and tyre info?

I think we all know the answer to that, unfortunately.

Engineer 'What damage do you have?'

VT2 nothing new. LH did a mid 1.04. His Q3 and pole lap were faster last week. So tbh, i dont think anything changed, except maybe the tyres they are testing and track temperature.

In F1 terms it is significantly cooler, especially the track: 19°C Air and 31°C Track ... last week the lowest track temp was 43°C and the air was at least 2°C warmer

Whatever happened to the expansion plans?
Shelved due local opposition I seem to remember, which was a massive shame.
Yea i looked it up, it was locals, environmentalists, bureaucratic hurdles and even the FIA (safety reasons) who wasn't too keen on having an expanded track.

Relax.. it's just practice 2. 2 tenths in cool trnperatures. Redbull just need to tweak a few things and turn up the whick a tad.
After practice 3 we can have an idea; weather permiting.
I do hope its closer than last week.
For Sure!!

Thanks. That's a huge difference in temps. Hope it rains on race day or at the least on qualifying day. Has been a while since full wets on race day/quali.
