P1 It was a bit too close for comfort, as it wasn't a perfect session, but good enough to get us pole.
This one is dedicated to the Orange Army, super to see you back at the track .
Let's make it something to remember tomorrow 🧡 #KeepPushing[/quote]

Did Perez keep the new fully serrated diffuser for quali? And did Max run the new louvres on the sidepods in quali?
True GOATs don’t need the help of superior material to win.

Tom Brady, Usain Bolt are true GOATs.

It’s a good job they introduced the minimum driver weight rule!

It doesn't look like it's likely to rain during the race, however, we may still start with a drying or dry but green track tomorrow.

After watching the onboard of pole. I noticed something the same on Perez's onboard from earlier in the weekend. On the straights the camera has an extremely fast juttering. This disappears in the braking zone. I suspect that front end is extremely stiff. It is so noticable I thought the resolution dropped until it enters the breaking zone

Interesting observation, but when you brake the whole system becomes even more rigid? It does in my road car. I know, bad comparison. But isn’t the cause similar?

Hmm that's right. It doesn't look to be vertical movement but side to side load oscillating very quickly. Something I've always noticed with Red Bull though is it looked to be running stiff front end. Mercedes always looks like a boat in comparison. Not in a bad way just that it looked like it was floating. Could a movement like that put heat into the sidewall of the tyre?

Could it be the way the RB is riding the skids on the straights is putting some vibration in the car? I keep being amazed by the stream of sparks coming from the tray on the straights. No other team seems to do it that radical.

Mclaren comes close. Just due to the rake, front of the wooden plank is closer to the ground. Suspension settings and full pushing on maximum settings will do the rest.
