To overturn a 40 second deficit and spin it 30 seconds the other way in the space between two races is pure fantasy, unless they’ve made the biggest engineering breakthrough in the history of F1.

There is a phrase for this 'tongue in cheek', and if you watch the few seconds after it he has his tongue latterly in his cheek asRZS10 says, so I would say 100% spoof.

Yep totally spoof with his “blowing away” but seemed quite confident that they closed the gap (eg we would have been “right there” on race pace with VER). So if that is the case then it’s still going to be a nail biter of a season

Toto is obligated to stop talking about other teams (since he was talking about strange Honda's power and then being beaten on Q3 by Mclaren which has the same engine ) and focus on themselves. It is obvious now that Mercedes has problem with whole package, not with RBR's flex wing or Honda's engine...

I don't think the result today is as bad as it looks. Consider Lewis' race pace last week vs Valtteri with an undamaged car. Had he not had the damage I suspect he would have been a good 15-20s up the road from Valtteri at the end with the same 1 stop. Still not great, but not nearly as dire. Still think they can turn it around and be very competitive at Silverstone.

If not...full on panic mode and might as well pack it in.

Pace is still decent and Silverstone will be better.

So on driver side it is very much open.
In constructor I’m not so sure
