Easy for him to say this now when he has never been deep into a championship fight before.
Looking at it from your perspective; wouldn’t it be easier for Max to ‘loose’ his self-control, never been deep into a F1 championship fight before?

The fact Max’ so calm and relaxed about it, show there is not a single dent in his armor.

You have no way of knowing how calm or relaxed he actually is though. All you know is what gets out via the press, and that's never very much. The teams have a representative with a driver all the time when talking with the press for a reason!

If it was Hamilton and Verstappen together, I would suspect that Hamilton would play the "Ocon" a bit. Just relax and "oh well, yeah, that's racing, but I don't believe it's my fault", provoking Verstappen in not acknowledging him in his anger.
.
Max doesn't care what Lewis says. Nothing he says can make Max angry.

Max yesterday: " I don’t have much to say on all the media hype and to be honest I am not interested in getting involved in any of that.
I know what happened at Silverstone as I was in the car and obviously I feel a certain way about how my race ended but now
I’m just focusing on making sure we are the best we can be on track so we can stay ahead in the championship."
.
Well all Lewis had to do was celebrate a win and it drove Max crazy.
.
How do you know? Because the statement from the hospital Sunday evening 7:45 p.m.? You think that was written by Max?
Those were clearly the words of Horner and/or Jos Verstappen. They were very dissapointed about the celebration..
When Max speaks, he uses other words/sentences.
Max only made a statement about what happend at Silverstone yesterday for the first time since the moan during the crash. He only said he wouldn't talk about it, he wants to race this weekend.

Yes. They didn’t read like Max’s words.

Children, children....Please stop this puerile "discussion". It is clear what the thread is supposed to be about but a number of the usual suspects have lowered it into an insult trading platform. Please behave like mature adults and actually discuss the upcoming race. If you want to trade insults, please do it by PM, so that genuine F1 fans do not have to see them.

This is quite easily the most important race of the season for some of these drivers looking to secure the futures like Perez, Latifim, Bottas, Russell, Raikonnen. before the 4-week break. I suspect a lot will happen in the driver market during the 4-week layoff.

I'm gonna go ahead and claim (Race result)

P1 - Hamilton
P2 - Verstappen + Fastest Lap
P3 - Norris
P4 - LeClerc
P5 - Perez
P6 - Bottas
P7 - Alonso
P8 - Sainz
P9 - Ricciardo
P10 - Russell

Which Results in

WDC:

P1 - Verstappen 201 points
P2 - Hamilton 200 points
P3 - Norris 128 points
P4 - Bottas 115 points
P5 - Perez 114 points

WCC:

P1 - RedBull Racing 315 points
P2 - Mercedes AMG 315 points
As a Norris fan I'll take that. Though even better would be if Lewis and Max trip over each other allowing Lando through to take the victory lol
Favourite driver: Lando Norris
Favourite team: McLaren

Turned down the chance to meet Vettel at Silverstone in 2007. He was a test driver at the time and I didn't think it was worth queuing!! 🤦🏻‍♂️

Race director's notes here: https://www.fia.com/sites/default/files ... on%202.pdf

They're likely to be altered, no doubt.

Track limits from the notes:
21) Track Limits
21.1 Turn 4 Exit
a) A lap time achieved during any practice session or the race by leaving the track and cutting
behind the red and white kerb on the exit of Turn 4, will result in that lap time being invalidated
by the stewards.
21.2 Turn 11 Exit
a) A lap time achieved during any practice session or the race by leaving the track and cutting
behind the red and white kerb on the exit of Turn 11, will result in that lap time and the
immediately following lap time being invalidated by the stewards.
21.3 Turn 12 Exit
a) A lap time achieved during any practice session or the race by leaving the track and cutting
behind the red and white kerb on the exit of Turn 12, will result in that lap time and the
immediately following lap time being invalidated by the stewards
21.4 General – Turn 4 Exit, Turn 11 Exit and Turn 12 Exit
a) Each time any car fails to negotiate Turn 4 Exit and/or Turn 11 Exit and/or Turn 12 Exit by
using the track as described above, teams will be informed via the official messaging system.
b) On the third occasion of a driver failing to negotiate Turn 4 Exit and/or Turn 11 Exit and/or Turn
12 Exit by using the track as described above during the race, he will be shown a black and
white flag, any further cutting will then be reported to the stewards.
c) In all cases detailed above, the driver must only re-join the track when it is safe to do so and
without gaining a lasting advantage.
d) The above requirements will not automatically apply to any driver who is judged to have been
forced off the track, each such case will be judged individually.
If you are more fortunate than others, build a larger table not a taller fence.
