Two points before people lose their minds:

1. Red bull could have overtaken.
2. Hamilton had to slow to create room to Bottas.

So blame Bottas or Redbull, but not Hamilton I’m afraid.

Hamilton had Bottas right in front of him
Spotted that too. Didn't see Ocon though.

The booing is pretty pathetic though.
I liked Hamilton's response though - "I don't mind the booing". Won't stop them booing, of course.

The new tyres clearly gave a huge advantage to mercedes at least on 1 lap. Maybe Red Bull can do something in race pace, otherwise this season is over.

Horner off to the stewards in 3...2...
But he can't since the British GP - he needs an invite first...

For similar thing Alonso was punished 5 places grid penalty in 2007, which costed him a title...

It's part of the game, in Silverstone everyone cheers the British drivers, also, they cheered the crash let's not forget. Other countries cheer other drivers and boo others as well. Beat them all with the same stick please.

Yep, and it's all because he complained so loudly and publicly about Toto going to see the stewards.

One interesting point - this year's pole time is a full 2 seconds slower than last year's pole. Is that all down to the aero changes at the rear of the car?

The upgrades have really brought the W12 to life, should be a good race tomorrow.

Horner was given the chance to complain, and didn't. Tells you all you need to know.

Just watched the pole lap replay.

The way that merc rotated on the second to last corner.........it was like watching magic.

It looked like the car did a mini powerslide through the whole corner.

Horner saying he has no problem with the slow outlap. Hamilton had track position and had the right to drive his own pace. Which is surprising to hear and hopefully will kill this issue dead from now on.

Why would Horner go to the stewards for that?. What rule did Hamilton break as it pertains to driving standards?. Sounds like pure speculation abound.
