I am interested to see if Bottas will get a race suspension for this one. Grosjean got one at Spa in 2012 and this was basically the same thing.
Nah, probably not. Grosjean was a dangerous overtake move, this was a braking error (in the wet). It doesn’t look like he took extra risk.

Lando chopped accross the front of Bottas and unloaded Bottas’s front wing. Sure that played a big part.
He locked up mate, that is not an excuse. You as the driver are in charge of your own driving.
Yeah but you chop in front of someone like that while they’re braking and they are going to run into you. It takes all the downforce off the front wing.

Poor Max. He is extremely unlucky. It's strange that it's the second race in a row where a Mercedes is taking out Verstappen.
He took himself out last time round. Quit your whining. Enough of this bs already

Grosjean had form, and was a regular in accidents. Bottas is much more clean, so a ban I doubt. Would get Russell in the Merc for a race though 8)

Now we all know how Mercedes is going to win this championship well before few races to the end. I have always said that Bottas he does not deserve spot in F1.

Bottas and Stroll to get 5 place grid penalty for Spa I'm pretty sure. A bit unlucky for Bottas since he probably lost a lot of downforce when Norris cutting ahead of him. That being said, he should know better and be more cautious. Stroll has no excuse since he had free space infront of him.

Big opportunity for people lower down the field to score valueble points.

His car is still in it. Despite Bottas best Grosjean Spa 2012 impersonation. He only did an average job though.

Redbull lost a lots of paces by pitting before the red flag came out. There was little risk to take another lap I guess?

Norris, Leclerc, Perez all out because of either Bottas or Stroll. That cannot be just a racing incident.

Bottas and Stroll both started like they’ve done their first ever starts in F1. Destroyed several cars and the chance for an interesting race. What a big shame.

It’s just a braking error in slippery conditions, everyone was locking up.

I hope the Mods have had their Red Bull (other caffeine / energy drinks are available). With all of the trolling about Mercedes cheating / doing it on purpose, there is going to be a lot of work for them to do in this thread.
