When they showed Bottas onboard with team Radio, I was waiting for "Did it work ? Toto ? am I a good boy ?"

In all seriousness, what a brain fade! even though Norris cut across him, how did that happen!

After last weeks (artificial) drama, how hasn’t anyone blamed Lewis for this yet? Come on, interview Marko or Christian already.

Dear F1 forum members. It’s a race start in the wet for the first time the weekend. What do you expect? All chill a bit.
You really hold these F1 drivers to a very low standard don't you?

Bottas braked later than everyone else. Interesting.

The red bull mechanics are doing a superb speed job here on the car. They may well be the best in the game at speedy repairs.

I am interested to see if Bottas will get a race suspension for this one. Grosjean got one at Spa in 2012 and this was basically the same thing.
Hows that? Norris is suddenly in front of a Bottas which uploads Bottas’ his front wing.

That’s nothing like Grosjean at Spa.
Watch the onboard replay. He wasn't just suddenly in front of Bottas, he was there for quite some time. All drivers in front of Bottas started braking at around 150m mark, Bottas was way later than that.
I’m not saying Bottas wasn’t late he was. But he also was also dealing with less front downforce.

To compare it to Grosjean though. Nah.

Exactly, Bottas is still accelerating whilst others are lifting off. Zero to do with Lando and extremely poor from Bottas.

To be fair to stroll he did his best to avoid colliding with anyone by trying to take to the grass. But grass = wet….
About sums up his level of driving right there.
To be fair to him he is usually decent in the wet, but caught out big time here.

Rooting for Alonso top 5. If there isn't damage on his car.

Do the wet and intermediate tyres have also new reinforced rear tyres or just the dry ones?

Max can still win this, his car will be fixed during the red flag.
how much are they able/allowed to repair, though?! Looked like he got a harder hit than Norris, who had to retire despite the red flag.If the floor is damaged, he is done, I'd think

Everyone would be dealing with that, its a race start.

That is a LOT more damage than I was expecting after Ted said they had replaced everything.

They just showed Yukis on board camera. He is a rookie and, although he also had a car in front of him, he knew when to start breaking. Absolutely noobish from Bottas.

Same. But they’ve done a heroic job to get as much done in the time possible.
