Pretty uneventful Friday. Haven't seen the official numbers but from what I was seeing, the long runs looked OK.

I've given up trying to predict at what tracks this car will perform at. At this rate, wouldn't be surprised if it went really well at Spa and Monza lol

Same here. Its like Ferrari somehow got it wrong on which tracks they're gonna do well and on which they weren't

Yeah expected a bit more to be honest. The temperature really suits them, the track is not so power hungry and there are slower corners. I guess just not slow enough to have an advantage with their good mechanical grip. Let’s hope tomorrow is better.

Leclerc was pretty optimistic today all things considered. So there is more to come i expect

It seems almost as if the embarrassment at France really hurt. They got tired of showing hope on Friday and Saturday only to be washed up on race day. Mclaren barely broke the top 10 also so I'm not too worried about Practice 2. LeClerc didn't seem too concerned though after the practice, so I'll wait till tomorrow.

It looks like overall that the 2021 cars over the field are operating in such a small window that if you’re just slightly off, you drop a considerably amount of lap time. Not so much who got the most potential faster car, but who can get their cars in the right window.

But disappointed, but they did warn us - it’s my fault for having too high hopes after Monaco and Baku. This is more in-line with where we’re at this year. What could have been though - if Charles has eeked out those few hundredths, starting 5th we could have had a very different race.

All still to play for so I’m staying positive.

Sainz's luck came right back to him after yesterday. Somebody up there must be looking out for him.

McLaren didn't score a point so Ferrari is within 5 going into the break. Can't ask for much more than that today.

What about Sainz after his collision in qualifying? Anything more than front wing?

It is going to be interesting second half wherein Mclaren and Ferrari are both equal in points(hoping AM P2 gets stripped off) ...who will come top of this?
