Besides Lando will have to penalize to change engine. Weekend to the trash...
Unless it's changeable conditions, from wet to dry.

A new engine is not bad at Spa. Nor is timing your stop in the changing conditions. Having a better setup for the race isn't too bad.

All to play for still. Doesn't mean we will win anything, but its far from lost, even from the pits.
Right, He had a new engine but he will get another new engine. Tht is the good new,,,starting from the back with a new PU in the rain isn't bad. It will be several throws of the dice tomorrow. Anyone can win.

What happens if the conditions get worse and today's Q3 is cancelled? Will Lando Norris be able to race on a new chassis tomorrow or the rules forbid him so?

He'll be starting from pit lane regardless. He needs a new gearbox, PU, etc etc etc

Well in that case I hope todays lesson will maker him wiser in the future. Still nothing's over yet. I assure you if he is that much faster than the competition he will be clearing the opposition one by one quickly tomorrow.

Also nothing is lost yet. We still have Daniel Ricciardo to show us what he is made off and gain as many points as possible and if Lando is that much faster tomorrow than the rest I can expect him to gain a lot of points and maybe he might be able to win from last. Anything can happen in Spa and especially in that first turn or the high speed corners on wet.

You have to keep in mind that if it is wet tomorrow ...there will be several safety cars and possible red flags. So it is as much about keeping it on the track as it about passing people.

That is also true. He has the potential to win if he is careful and capitalises on misfortunes.

He should pop down to Haas and ask for a lend of Mazipin's top. He does a batter job, even if not so often.
When arguing with a fool, be sure the other person is not doing the same thing.

He would have made the decision in conjunction with the team.

Sky commentators saying the same thing, should have been more cautious.

The gearbox was gone from the back of the car in the images I saw. That doesn't bode well for the PU when the gearbox is rip away like that.
