First of all bravo to Daniel Ricciardo for P3 as Bottas will have a penalty though I am dissapointed seeing him getting beaten from a Williams. Tomorrow Lando will go full attack and Daniel will give his usual racecraft to gain some places at the start. Lando could have easily goten the pole position today.

Yep but he has just the right amount of aversion to walls today. Today in history will always appear as Dan out qualifying Norris regardless of the reasons. Put aside all the BS and tip your cap to him today. Tomorrow is another day.

I am almost certain he would have had it today, but that's how things go in F1 sometimes.

Let's hope he is okay and cleared to race tomorrow. There's plenty to play for still with such a mixed grid.

I expected Ric to really struggle today as you need confidence to push the car in the wet. But P4 over 1.3 seconds faster than both Bottas and Perez in superior cars was completely unexpected. Great performance today. Hope Lando is ok and can have a great recovery drive sunday as well and get some good points as Ferrari really struggling it seems.

I know this is a Mclaren threat but dam big shout out to Russell in the williams snail as surely that was the qualifying performance of the year!

Nice solid result from Dan to keep his nose clean and put it in P4. No mean feat beating Bottas and Perez either. As Russell said it was all down to the right timing for your lap and putting it all together and you could gain alot of time. Stoked Dan finally has a really good starting position for a race in the McLaren. Hard luck to Lando but everyone makes mistakes occasionally.
