i find it ironic that the new points system finally comes back and POTENTIALLY shoot the FIA in the foot.
IF it was the old points system and let's just say that the impossible happened in that the F2004M sees not a single podium before the 05 comes out, then they'll be behind the 8-ball for sure.
With the new points system, what's the worry. They added one ADDITIONAL race to the calendar this year. In terms of efficiency and unity, they're head and shoulders above every one else.
Hell Kimi won just ONE race in 03 and he challenged MS right til the very last race for the championship; I don't see why any ferrari / ms fan should even worry.
Keep this in mind: only ferrari has a pecking order in terms of drivers. this will "thin out" the points if you will among the other drivers (let's say Kimi wins once and Juan wins once, instead of one driver TWICE). Add these minor nuances up and it almost seems FAIR to the rest of the field that Ferrari is using "last year"'s car .
