I don’t think it’s a massive surprise in all honesty - it highlights where we lack against the top teams.

This car is a very efficient, lean machine but ultimately it doesn’t quite have the grip and responsiveness of the top guys, so a weekend like this is inevitable at certain circuits.

Lando has dragged the car to places I didn’t think it would go this year - especially at Monaco- and the team have maximised opportunities really well.

Monza is more to our liking but let’s see if we can grab some important points tomorrow.

There is nothing to hope. This is a sh*t circuit. There will be sc after sc without race. As we saw on the FP-s and QF the marshalls were able to work for a long time no matter what little things happened.

We are very lucky. There were races where we would have maximalised our gain but there were bad weather or a morron (Bottas). Now, we have a less good car for a circuit nobody has a bad luck.

Lando said post qualli he just wasn't quick enough and praised Dan's effort. Said he lacked confidence in the car.

Dan said that the pace he had in Q2 disappeared in Q3 and wasn't sure why. Said he felt comfortable in the car but in q3 straight away the grip was lacking for some reason.
Furthermore seems that they made an error in setup that did not pay off from this post qualy interview

Kinda surprised how smily Lando was on that interview. He is usually super hard on himself, but here it really seemed like he has something up his sleeve for tomorrow with the setup. Which I find odd because there won’t be overtaking opportunities

Only hope is that whatever setup direction they have chosen is perhaps very kind on the tyres while having great pace, lando was doing 15.4's on softs on the long runs which is 5 tenths off max and top of the midfield with the ferrari's doing 15,6/7's so perhaps go really long at good pace and chance a 1 stop (if what most of the runners in the top 10 do 2 stop)?

That was awful, I thought Norris might have had the pace to be near the Ferraris- especially after FP3.

Did Lando do his first run in Q2 on worn tyres?

Unfortunately I’m not too optimistic for the race either but we’ll see. Just to have a race will be a bonus after the hitshow at Spa

Well as things have gone out all I can say is gather as many points as possible so that Ferrari won't go very far and push for the podium places for both drivers in Monza as I feel that Ferrari will struggle there a lot.

And some people keep dreaming that Ferrari has the same luck as Mclaren. Hopefully after badluck number 3 in a row some opinions can change.

I feel with you... But Luck favors the prepared... And the wheel turns... :D :D

One bad weekend a season does not make... :D :D

I only ask that both cars finish the first lap safely

I will agree on that. Just for once let both cars finish the first lap safely and if they gain some positions that is good. Just this once let lady luck turn things around.

Let's hope that is not the case. I don't want another disaster.

I do not expect any points today. We are just to slow for that…
