How? By throwing something on the track---a boomerang probably
Actually, going by what people in the UK is saying about the BBC commentary, he's likely to throw Eddie Jordan to one of those nasty looking front wings.
I am not amazed by F1 cars in Monaco. I want to see them driving in the A8 highway: Variable radius corners, negative banking, and extreme narrowings that Tilke has never dreamed off. Oh, yes, and "beautiful" weather tops it all.

One Lap Wonders
How many cars will retire before completing one lap?
None 11 - 10
Exactly One 7 - 2
Exactly Two 9 - 2
Three or more 5 - 2
It's legal to use KERS off the start, and it's also legal to charge it before the race (but not charge it during a pit-stop). This could be rather wacky, with some cars low down the grid having an extra 80 brake on cars in front. It could be a potential safety issue. When would it be beneficial to use KERS - when the clutch is dropped or a bit further on?
Not sure that KERs could actually be used off the start. The tyres (see I got it right again...) will be cold and if the cars are traction limited up to the first corner, there may be no advantage or capability to utilize the additional 60 kW.
As for wings...my vote is for six but it could go higher.
If a car near the front looses a wing and drives over it, not too uncommon, then the car behind will loose a wing just from contact with the debris. The new wings are much closer to the track than last year so it won't just be contact with other cars that will strip off a wing, there is the debris factor.
The width of the wings doesn't help either.
What about this posting of the car weights....are they completely stupid..?? Apologies if the question is considered redundant.
The idea of qualifying with race fuel is to introduce a strategy element into the race. Now it has been completely removed. Everyone knows who is pitting on which lap. Want to make the race a procession....well this is exactly how to do it.
My vote on this is ....thumbs down. If you feel the overwhelming need to post the weights, di it after the race.

Well i guess the info can be used in certain ways, but by the time they know it's not like they can do anything about their own starting load. So it just adds a different level of strategy in my view. I can't see how this would add to a race being processional or not, care to elaborate?
The TV commentators seem to know who's set to run longer a lot of the time, I don't know if this info was available to them or if they figure it out from the time sheets. Either way, the teams have a good idea who's fueled how long and it only makes sense to make it available to the public. Who knows, maybe it can even save the teams some money.
As for knocking off front wings, Nakajima starting behind and inside Alonso makes me nervous. Really nervous. Really really nervous.
I think anyone in front of a KERS-equipped car will be quite nervous here. I've no doubt that if one of the KERS guys gets away off the line well, they are going to end up slamming into the back of another car.
I don't think they'll really be able to get the power down immediately, and you wouldn't want that much speed going into turn 1 (3rd gear). I'd save my first lap KERS explosion for the exit of turn 5 and the exit of turn 9/10 so you can make some passes.
so from what i can make out, only 2 front wings were knocked off, from the 7 or 8 that had a first corner incidents.. well done to the 9 of you that got it right!
