Their low-rake -- long-wheel base makes the car nimble. Especially at the front. That's why we saw Hamilton slide a lot, because they had to run maximum front downforce, but since the car is lazy (understeery) at the front, they have to run slightly less downforce at the rear to make car rotate easier. But the problem with this setup is that the car is unbalanced, especially on corner exits.
Won't it be less nimble with a long wheelbase?
Yeah sorry, I meant the opposite o nimble. I think the word is inept.
Ah, then clumsy (or lazy) would be the word you're looking for :D (although you had already described it correctly as 'understeery', or "prone to more understeer" if you wanna make the Queen especially pleased :P)

So it really is 'live' live.

Actually, have you ever noticed that when the TV cuts to someone in the pits, and there's a live monitor behind them, that WE receive the image before it shows on their screens?

Because the feed in the pits is the same that we get, so we see them seeing what we see ... if that makes sense.

Made a terrible illustration to accompany :D

Hungary needs Austria's little front-wing-chomper kerb.

61 deg C track temp. No wonder the Mercs are struggling by the end of the lap...

Pirelli tweeted 61 deg C according to BBC practice coverage. JUst reread it and that temp was just before the session. My bad.

It's a Ferrari weekend, damage limitation for Mercedes, Red Bull is on the back foot by turn four and are fighting to make up time for the remainder of the lap.
