it seemed like they were prepairing everyone for some possible problems. but i doubt they were expecting it to be this bad. they probably ran out of time and just had to go with what they had. kinda "hope for the best but prepare for the worst" type of thing.
you have to wonder how many gearboxes they brought, or whatever other parts. they may have to wait for something to come from the factory
They are lying and failing to take responsibility for their part .you could here the gearbox grinding and alonso reving the engine in frustration. These is not a good way to build relationships by blaming the other party for your failings.
Software saw no drive, engine free to do what it wants, thought it's a great opportunity for a big dollop of rechargePU lost connection to the tires on downshift. Be that clutch, transmission, drive shaft, etc.
