My only concern would be from the possible health effects caused by the high Frequency generated due to the large amount of electrical power being discharged and what it can do to a humans body who may be around the vehicle during a pit stop.

It would need to be tested both from a scientific as well as a health & Safety perspective in order to guarantee total safety to anyone near the vehicle during the electrical units main function(s).
If someone said to me that you can have three wishes, my first would have been to get into racing, my second to be in Formula 1, my third to drive for Ferrari.

would there be health effects (mental function ?) on the driver ?
(due to the electric drive, up to 120 kW, during the 1 hr 40 min race)

serious question

No, such high power electric drives are frequently used in machine tools and they have no adversary known effects on the operators if the shielding is done to spec.

The 2013 Le Mans 24 hour race gave ample experience of electric driving in the pit lane. The Toyota cars were brilliant in my view and there were no problems whatsoever to hear the cars approaching with their characteristic electric whine. Ecclestone was stirring the emotions of the fans in order to get another delay for the turbo engines. We know by now that the strategy backfired. I expect the electric driving in the pit lane to become common practise in F1 when they have collected more experience with it in Le Mans. F1 is simply being backward thinking like a 92 year old would typically be. Time for Bernie to go to jail or retire.

Bernie is ONLY 82, though he often behaves like a 2 year old! :P Actually, my 2 year old grandson is BETTER behaved than Bernie..... :?
