Beats me. I couldn't spot a good aero design if my life depended on it. I'd guess anything is better, anyway.

SA is really the litmus of how far you can go with a limited budget and, sort of, is headed toward the Minardi spot I have left in my heart. Go, Super Aguri Racer, Go! For greater justice!

About the photo, the shadow under the nose is funny (well, maybe its just a reflection on top of the "missing nose shadow"). As for Tom's comment, we could have here a flexi-window. Seriously, Monstrobolaxa is right on the money. If it is a window, is like a bunker window built in Lazy Town.

It appears they are using the current chassis, I can't see much difference between them fundamentally. The sidepods and sidepod intake have changed a lot, gone from rectangular to more rounded, and a lot tighter.
My assumption is that SA is still using the same chassis, but have tweaked everything they can around the elder chassis design.
To me, this appears to be a good desision, not to bite off more they can chew, and to learn and progress from previous cars.

:)

Why would a SA need a rearview mirror? After all, we have blue flags. They could save some weight there (old joke about Minardi).

ITV-F1's saying that although the chassis is a carry over, enough modification have been done to it that it requires a new crash test.

Still a high nose and big front wing, also the air intake looks the same as the old one, with those gay ears which keep falling off!

lol, I think that's obviously not looking through a window into the area the car's in.
Sometimes you don't even read my posts

I still maintain it's not a bad looking thing.

A question about the Arrows A23, replaced by this new Super Aguri: why has it survived for so long? It has to have something...

First, it was bought by Minardi (I think) and then by Super Aguri. Mike Coughlan, its designer, went to work at McLaren after it.

Yeh, sounds about right. I remember at the Aussie GP, Brundle said that Ide's car had once been on a stand at Sydney airport, painted in Minardi colours.
