So when Kimi was quicker in quali or in race and had engine problmes that doesn't mean that he'd be faster if his engine lasted as long Alonso's (whole weekend, two races). Any team can over-rev engine for show-off in practice, quali or one part of the race and appear "fastest" but F1 is not drag racing but endurance.
