A couple quick "sketches" of some front wings. I rather like the endplates, but the wing elements need some work. As you can see, the leading edge is way too thin. Upper element on the first one is a bit "short" as well.




I also think the endplates in the second one may be a bit too tall, or not long enough.

Also, if you guys ever notice problems, feel to draw over the images if you'd like, to give me a better idea (if that's not asking too much). I'd like this car to be as accurate (as in, realistic even if fantasy), and I'm also open to cosmetic opinions and ideas.

Nice pictures eidetic. I have always wanted to learn some graphic work but never had the time to learn it properly. I have done a bit of rendering here and there but nothing close to the quality of your work.

I was just wondering though, these models such as the current front wing, are these done in CAD or just sketches ...? I have sort of contributed in the aero discussion in an other thread and I was wondering if we can use some of your services for our final product visualisation? I am sure we will come up with something useful in the end there...

They're full 3D models, but not in the traditional CAD sense in a way.

I'm using modo, which is a 3D program, but it is more used for film, games, graphic design, etc, as opposed to programs like AutoCAD, Pro/E, etc which are more geared towards actual design.

I use modo primarily for modeling, and rendering of still images. I use Maya for any animation work, and depending on the project, even rendering of still images.

That said, I'd be more than happy to lend my services for anything you might need in the other thread. Which thread exactly are you referring to?

Anyone have any more links to good pictures, (preferably cut away style drawings, or high res pictures of the body work removed) of the internals of the cars? Mainly radiators, fuel tanks, and transmissions? Or does anyone have any they could either upload for me, or email?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, and thank you all again for the links already provided.
