Haha, anyway, i'm sure it will still be there, if i've got my eyes set on an F1 car, theyre not going to move very far for a while.

Thank you for all your help.

Yes, you go add one!

We all have parents who try to point us in the "right" direction. But in the end, you should go for whatever it is you're passionate about. If you ask someone "of a certain age" they'd almost certainly agree. :)

Hey all,

I'm in a similar situation to hope-elise; year 12, wanting to do engineering at uni, applied to headstart, studying double maths, chem and physics atm.

I wrote to RBR for work experience (near my house so convienient) but they haven't gotten back to me yet.
Anybody know anything that might help- do any of the other teams around here do work experience/ internships for yr 12s etc.... Please PM me or reply.

Anyway the main point of this was to say hope-elise, you're not alone. Keep going with engineering etc.

See y'all,

Yeah, tell that to Enzo Ferrari, Ayrton Senna, Frank Williams...

So I would say: please enjoy your teen age doing what you want, wich is involving in motorsport. :D

You are lucky, you live in England near F1 and other series teams, take advantage of it!

I would kill for having the opportunity of just being close. For my dreams to come true I would have to cross atlantic, with no money (I earn $3500 wich is good here, but less than 750euros there) no home, no job and standing many people calling me "sudaca" or "latin" while my great grand parents came from europe here 100 years ago with their hands empty.

Enjoy racing, you are lucky

Hope, if I was in your place, I would have gone ahead with my dream.

I completely disagree with what Mahesh suggested you. (Sorry I didn't wanted to pinpoint any one, but its a matter of your future.)

Dreams are meant to be fulfilled. Only lifeline you have in your Passion to fulfil it. Whenever you see yourself on a downtrend, I would suggest you to remember your dream and once again refresh your Passion.
