), the leader of a bunch of investors, told BBC radio today (thursday) that they have reached an agreement with Bernie to sign a seven year contract for silverstone. This would keep Silverstone in F1 for a long time.
The bunch of investors have raised the demanded 9 million pounds. BRDC has confirmed that Brand Synergy has offered to work as the promoter for the race in the future. Cockburn is the leader of Brand Synergy.
Bernie has allegedly told BBC he is confident Brand Synergy can pull it off and Silverstone will remain in F1.
