Could be simply drag. There potentially might be something to it but it's unclear right now that they are actually using less power in the second half of the lap. Drag + No tires leading to poor exits onto straights can explain the delta.

Piastri win here, Norris in second and Max in third place would be the perfect scenario on this track. But now Mercedes and Ferrari are also in the mix. It will be very hard. In Imola and Saudi Arabia the driver can make more of a difference than here.

Red Bull has a much larger rear wing than the others. It's drag. They will not be quick on the straights here.

Balance looked quite decent in the short run. Very tidy lap except for the last corner. Good in T4, and really good in T13 (which is surprising).

in FP3, car looks terrible in T4, breaching track limits consistently. I didn't see any change in wing level, still carrying the most loaded wing of all teams.

Seems strange.
From what I understand, they have 2H, 1M, 6S left. Assuming that Q is going to consume a minimum of 4S (1 each for Q1 and Q2, 2 for Q3) , how are they going to distribute 2H, 1M and 2S across FP3 and race ?
A) 1M for FP3 , giving themselves one extra set of S for Q, and go with S-H-H for race
B) 1M and 1S for FP3, and S-H-H for race
C) 1H for FP3, giving themselves one extra set of S for Q, and go with S-M-H / S-H-M for race
D) 1H and 1S for FP3, and S-M-H / S-H-M for race

In FP3, Tsunoda went with C ; and Max went with an option that I had not thought of, above. He used 2 out of his pool of 6S, and is left with 4S for Q and M-H-H for race.

Probably put some understeer in to protect the rear tires during the race. T4 and T8 are bad currently. No front in T4 and no rear in T8.

Spooky pace from Piastri, don't really know what to make of it because it's so rare to see gaps like that, it was like going back to 2014-16. It's not looking good for TSU this weekend, pressure surely mounting and finishing so low in practise won't be good for his confidence.

MCL will be monstrous in qualy, looking to be their easiest pole so far. Max will do well to qualify P3-P4 but even that is looking too optimistic, just understeering through the whole lap.

Yuki on hard didnt do quali lap so let wait and see i think he can be within 0.4 tenth of Max .sector 2 has corner the rest are mainly straights

Yuki was on softs at the end and went wide. Looking a bit of a mess at the moment, hoping for a bit of a miracle in quali, because that's what's needed.
