That ghostlike shriek in the second clip... wow. Sounds haunting. I'm glad the PU sounds interesting
I think a full grid of these cars is gonna end up quite noisy with all these overtones and whatnot.
Yeah I’ve enjoyed the sound of all the 2026 engines I’ve heard so far - not exactly a V10 but it does seem like the MGUH was probably not helping the sound. To my (biased) ears, the Ferrari probably sounds the best so far but the main thing is the power it produces; seems like the higher revs is helping and fingers crossed some of the talk of Ferrari being aggressive on the ICE has translated to something meaningful here.
I'm gonna be the odd one out and say I like the electric whine and the sound of the engine. The Ferrari engine sounds like a 499P with a proper sounding engine attached.

Ferrari has enough money and resources that they can easily setup a working base in England for F1 alone. They voluntarily choose to not do it. And as a natural result, they do lose access to a relatively large talent pool.

And I am personally for using private test tracks like Fiorano in a budget capped era. I think once you set a limit on the expenditure, private testing should also be added to the expenditure. If Ferrari want to do it they should just do it and pay for it...I just personally dislike budget cap in the way in which it's implemented currently. It needs big changes or it has to go.
The FIA folds on a royal flush.

Adami wasn't convinced about staying even in 2025 for various reasons (not because of a personal issue with Hamilton). It doesn't honestly surprise me that he stepped back without major issues.
@Smilextech

Sounds like Adami wanted to follow Sainz.

He didn’t like the conditions placed on them staying together.

Not uncommon to have a sit down with the group, set some rules to see if they solve the situation and then one of the parties thinks they weren’t met in the middle.

In my opinion he doesn’t want to deal with the stress of the toxicity that comes with that role, probably talked to Xavi as well.

Ferrari announces that Riccardo Adami will NO longer be Lewis Hamilton's race engineer, taking on a new role within the Scuderia Ferrari Driver Academy as Scuderia Ferrari Driver Academy and Test Previous Cars Manager #AutoRacer #F1

Scapegoated. But maybe it's for the best, that excuse will no longer be available (I hope).
LOL I can't lie, it feels good to see some vocal posters from the last few pages eat crow but mostly I'm glad that common sense prevailed at Ferrari. Makes me feel optimistic about their future.
Without knowing how this decision came about, and whose prerogative it was, we cannot speculate on whether the implication that Adami was let go is actually true.

From the bits I’ve read across this and another forum, my impression is that Adami may have made this choice.

Adami seemed mentally clocked out to me for a few years now. Even with Sainz. I think he's just tired and wants to move on to something else.

Thread has been locked for cleaning, how much off topic b*llsh*t do you guys think is tolerable?
Doubling down, tripling down and name calling on off topic posts usually earns a warning; there was so much of it here.

No more will be tolerated.

Hamilton and Leclerc will be testing the car in Fiorano this Friday for the first time. There will be little to no media contact for them so they can focus. The main focus is checking the engine reliability and the drivers learning to manage the new electric.

It would be just Leclerc's luck that it snows on their test day!

I'm assuming in that case they'd just reschedule right?

Also forgot to add that Bozzi will be race engineering for both Leclerc and Hamilton next week. They are not rushing to find Adami's replacement
