They made a mistake going with mediums on second run with Tsunoda. But no doubt he will recover! That car seems good!

I feel a lot of drivers who didn't make Q3 are mad as hell, it's just little tiny things that can mean starting P6 or P13. Tomorrow Tsunoda needs to keep a calm head, stay out of trouble in the start because starting back there, there's a high chance of incidents at turn 1, 4 and 8. There's still plenty to play for depending on tire strategy and pace relative to the others, he can still score points.

Tsunoda with his tire management will carve thru the field like he did from last to 2nd in F2. I predict he will have an impressive debut performance and will eclipse Mick Schumacher as the best rookie in 2021.

AT should just qualify on softs in Q2 like Ferrari and Mclaren are. No point in trying to do what the front runners are, just do the same as their direct competitors.

Good job from Yuki, the car had enough pace to fight with Ferrari and McLaren. Yuki has driven F1 cars at Imola, he should do better there.

Of course he did. But it cost a huge amount of time and track position. He never recovered.

Not sure. The race result just shows him as a DNF.

Unfortunately, we had to retire him towards the end of the race for a suspected gearbox issue that we need to investigate further.
Doesn't a DNF get you some penalty-free parts ? I think a new gearbox is one of (the only ?) new parts allowed.

Gasly was having electrical issues similar to Perez pre-race, may be related to his DNF?
