I think McLaren got their engines very cheap this year as part of the deal to release paddy Lowe early. It probably involved retaining some real estate on the car.NewtonMeter wrote:Looks really good. Sure McLaren has, not sure why though. They have to pay for their engines now, so presumably mercedes has to pay for the advertising space... Perhaps, if Merc branding appears on this car, Mercedes bought the ad space (or gave Williams a discount on the engines, which amounts to same thing).
