Leclerc cannot wait to get back to Monaco. Just no pace really. I doubt he's looking forward to a wet race here either.

I read something earlier in the year - maybe after wet tyre testing - that leclerc felt positive this car would be good in the wet. No idea if it’s true but perhaps because of good slow corner performance?

Leclerc always seems to struggle on this track for some reason.

I thought I was alone thinking this. He just never seems to be comfortable, or he's had car problems. It's not even a tricky circuit really, so it's weird to have it as a bogey track.

he is 0,1s behind Hamilton, its not bad
in todays race 5th and 6th place is the maximum

Yeah, I always wondered what philosophy or method can result that Ferraris are bad in the wet since more then a decade...
In the meanwhile engineers came and went, but this tendency remained. Very interesting, would love to know the reason. Perhaps they do not even know?

Perhaps because there aren't any real wet races any more, and the intermediate conditions they are allowed to run in are rare enough that they're not considered to be worth much attention

Both drivers have gone off track this race... not great handling so far. Hamilton was trailing Verstappen for a long time but it seems the tires couldn't hold up and like Leclerc said yesterday, it's extremely difficult to pass

4.3 second pit stop for Hamilton resulted him losing a huge amount of time under the SC, also caused Leclerc to lose a position because it was a double stack, a rare mistake from the crew though I didn't see what happened exactly

Hamilton is flying on the mediums, quickly making up the time he lost during the pit stop

Leclerc was stuck behind Hadjar who got a 10 second penalty for moving under braking when defending. Leclerc did get ahead eventually but it's good they gave Hadjar the penalty, it was clearly illegal
