With ma Qing ha as the last test driver, this is a very good hands for the Chinese to get a foot through the door. I won't be surprised to see a Chinese Japanese collaboration either.

isn't the Japan and China on the brink of entering a armed conflict over small islands that determines who owns what part of the East China Sea

Goes beyond the islands. The Chinese has never forgotten about the Nanjing Massacre and the annual visit by Japanese PM to the war shrine is not helping either. So a possibility of a Japanese China collaboration is very remote.

I guess I was dreaming too much about Nakajima/Kobayashi returning
in the TF110! with chinese money! (Japan is low on cash) alongside ma king ha.

I'd personally like to see Ford step up and be a constructor and engine supplier for an American Team. Yes, I'm biased.

They already have somewhat of a platform for the 2014 Engine change with the EcoBoost, so why not?
