Wait a minute, I could be wrong but:
SA05 = Arrows A23
PS04b = Arrows A22

Know nothing about it myself, I'm just repeating what Martin Brundle said.

Some interesting tidbits about the SA06. Apparently they will move to a zero-keel front suspension from Turkey onwards, the current design is made to accept the changeover.

Simon: Nils? You can close in now. Nils?
John McClane: [on the guard's phone] Attention! Attention! Nils is dead! I repeat, Nils is dead, ----head. So's his pal, and those four guys from the East German All-Stars, your boys at the bank? They're gonna be a little late.
Simon: [on the phone] John... in the back of the truck you're driving, there's $13 billon dollars worth in gold bullion. I wonder would a deal be out of the question?
John McClane: [on the phone] Yeah, I got a deal for you. Come out from that rock you're hiding under, and I'll drive this truck up your ass.

Whatever the origins of the chassis the fact is that they started the car design from scratch rather than just trying to beef up an exisiting design.

I visited the factory when they had just started and actually before the FIA had accepted the team.
They had a few engineers working on new bodywork designs for the old car SA05 but the main design department was hidden away working on the SA06.

The SA06 has been quicker than the SA05 in Hockenheim, but I'm questioning it's reliability. More realiable than SA05 or less reliable than the SA05? :roll:

Diggin those red wheels. Maybe they will run those to distract viewers from their unimproved sector times.

Actually that pic is from the Shakedown test, the pics above are from the GP (No red wheels).

In terms of sector times they have already improved a lot!
Sato improved in qualifying to split the Midland cars (1st time ever afaik) and this is just the 1st race that they use the new car.

T. Sato
"We have split the Midland car times straight away in our first proper qualifying, which is a stunning job from everybody in the team. I think that, considering this is just our first step in the SA06, potentially this car could be very good."

I like to see such a small team with no budget do well.

Aesthetically I think it is one of the best cars on the grid.

When everyone goes on about the SA splitting the Midlands it would be wise to consider that Sato has a year of F1 experience over the MF1 boys.

I think it's more than 1 year even. Regardless, he was driving a car that had a shakedown and 3 1-hour practice sessions under the belt, versus 2 Midlands that have been tested and developed for 3/4 of a season.
It would be nice to see the SA06 improve some more, and get a little competition going at the back of the field. Turkey will bring a new front suspension as well, and more tracktime by then, so it could get interesting.
