Is this the weekend that Alonso's championship falls to bits? I expect some very ragged driving from him tommorrow. This tends to come out when he is under pressure. Red 1-2 I reckon.
My Dream Team has been suffering with the crap performances that Button has been sicking up. Hopefully he can change all of that with a podium tommorrow. :)

Well I must say too, that I think we´ll see the Italian Red Express Train do another 1-2 tomorrow and I will be over the moon with that. Sorry Renault fans :D

Start - first corner - big crash - at least one Ferrari out

All of a sudden Honda, and especially Button have found competitive pace. Whether it is due to low fuel in qualifying is worth watching. And even more relevant is that Shu was a complete second than Alonso in qualifying times.
I'm very impressed how quick Kimi went in qualifying, and watching to see who has what pitting strategy may be the key to the race.
Shu is 17 points behind Alonso, with 7 races remaining. He has to capitalize on each race, and average more than 2 points more than Alonso.
This is Michael's home track, and he has to take the bit between his teeth and put a hammering on Alonso, in order to get another title. Shu has to win, the pressure is on him big time this weekend. And historically, when Shu is under pressure, he is capable of doing anything. Good or bad behavior, it's going to be fun to watch this one.

Maybe not a big crash, and 2 Ferraris for luck, thats what I'm hoping, MS is not all that great round this circuit.

I was working and missed the quali, what happened?

Here's what happened ... http://www.pitpass.com/fes_php/pitpass_ ... t_id=28827

Not much except Speed's self-distruct, Ralf vs Pedro crash and rising animosity between Schuey and Alonso.

There migth be a crash in first corner, but it won´t affect the red ones as they will be long gone !!!
Judging after Ferraris slower times in third run, then they are running a considerable amount of fuel for a nice long stint while golden shoes sits in the pit holding Kimi´s hand ´cause he must have been on fumes in the third run!!!

manchild, if you really want to kill the M.S******er. You have to say like this:

Start - First Corner - both Ferraris explode into pieces

Or how about:
Start - Ferraris abducted by aliens - Renault disqualified for being aliens - restart with the remaining non-alien, non-abducted and other cool teams - First Corner - Kimi runs over Max Mosley.

Or is that lacking in realism ? :)

I don't think anyone wishes to see a death in racing. The world has enough crap going on all over the place, we don't need it in racing. Anyways, right now it seems it isn't even between drivers, the real battle is between Bridgestone and Michelin.
This is the first pole of this season for Kimi, and he sure looked quick in qualifying. I wonder just how light his fuel load was, and how many pit stops they plan. Hockenheim has one of the shorter pit times, three stops for Kimi may be planned.

Since Hockenheim was rebuilt in 1947 with help from Mercedes, apparantly Mercedes have only won once at the track! 1998 Mika won it!

I mean no harm to any driver so even a puncture in first corner would be just fine (when I said big crash I meant many cars not destroyed cars).
