Oscar Piastri led a domininant McLaren 1-2 finish at the Miami Grand Prix. After clearing pole sitter Verstappen the McLaren duo ran away with supreme pace and finished more than 30 seconds ahead of third place finisher George Russell.

The track is bad but F1 and the teams seem determined to make this a signature event, with off track festivities, celebrities, special liveries...
This thing with this circuit is that the owner of the stadium is worth a ton of money and he's not shy about spending it on these "events". As long as the race at least breaks even for him, he'll spend money on improving the circuit... widening the streets, altering a bit of the layout, resurfacing, whatever it takes. If I'm not mistaken, the only public road that is in use now is the long straight between turns 16 and 17.
And charge an arm and a leg!
