Straights and slow turn traction zones, no high speed corners. Miami summer with hot track temps. McLaren should canter to an easy 1-2.

Weather doesn't seem too hot this year and there is a possibility of rain on Sunday.

I think a few people have stated that as being fact nearly every race of the season

I'd say they've largely been correct in thinking so.

It's not their fault that what Mclaren and its drivers should be capable of hasn't happened. :p

And I'd say people largely talk a lot of nonsense and they are largely projecting a lot based on their wishes, not on facts.

However, I do expect a good Mclaren here, together with Red Bull and maybe Leclerc.

Few people are 'wishing' Mclaren to have some dominant 1-2. I'm a Ferrari fan. Literally the very last thing I want to see is Mclaren having 1-2's. I'd be over the moon seeing them retire with failures or harmless accidents every race. People are saying it because that's the form the car is clearly capable of. It's been the best car at literally every single track and in every condition this year, with two drivers entirely adequate to achieve those 1-2's if they simply perform well enough.

Nothing about this is nonsense.

I would say Mclaren are still the favorites.

Should be easy for them with the traction requirements at Miami

I’m from Florida, lived there for most part of my life. 40% means, rain here and there. It rains hard and heavy for like 1 hour or 2 and then drys up quick in 30 minutes. I’m not joking

Yep, I don't think the forecast ever drops below 40% in central/south Florida. :D

Red Bull will likely struggle in the mid-course however. The slow tigher corners and heavy traction zone at the end of sector 2, then down back straight to the final corner, which itself is tight and heavy on traction won't serve them well.

RB have struggled this year where a circuit is rear limited. The latter half of the circuit is very much more rear limited than the first half. So we shall see.

I see Mercedes having a return to a better race. Red Bull somewhere in there and Ferrari a bit of an unknown.

McLaren the obvious favourites.

They’ll just put a brick under gas pedal. 😀
