Alonso's legacy I guess. Well done Gasly, TR and HondaBig Tea wrote:Alonso asking for his GP2 engine back
So Honda is still sh*t !??, yet Horner and company keep saying it is on par with Renault. Does not bode well for next year for RedBull.Ground Effect wrote: ↑29 Jul 2018, 16:58Gasly finished on the lead lap... Top job, great drive! It seems it's a little validation of what he said about the chassis, they were strong in wet qualifying and strong in the dry race.
No, Honda isn't bad at all, I agree there's little to choose between Honda and Renault, but on this track power is less of a factor. That's why Red Bull were optimistic coming here, even with their power deficit. Toro Rosso were clearly quicker than Haas and Sauber, who, don't forget have brand new and upgraded Ferrari engines. So we have to compliment the chassis here. But if we get to Spa and Monza and they're still in this position, or close to, the engine takes the acclaim.GrayGreat wrote: ↑29 Jul 2018, 17:29So Honda is still sh*t !??, yet Horner and company keep saying it is on par with Renault. cant be any worse than the horseshit Renault is supplying them right now.GrayGreat wrote: ↑29 Jul 2018, 17:29So Honda is still sh*t !??, yet Horner and company keep saying it is on par with Renault. Lando finished 2nd in the feature race yesterday, behind another Mclaren junior Nyck de Vries. Lando was brilliant when it was wet, destroyed the field, then it got dry and got destroyed by Nycke.McMika98 wrote: ↑29 Jul 2018, 17:38When Riccardo was climbing through the field and overtaking on the straights, could not help notice that he was having to come from quite far behind ToroRosso. On a short straight the engine has a lot of umph its seems. The result was due to great quali yesterday. Felt sorry for Hartley, Gasly had a poor start and was side by side with Hartley which allowed KMag to get ahead. After that it was just the matter of holding to place but the strategy to pit early and cover Hulk back fired. Norris can stay in GP2 and improve his trait, did he win this week? Albon maybe should get a shot next year.
