alonso saying the new front wing gave them more downforce and he used it for the sprint qualy. we will see if they use it tomorrow

What I understood was that he used the new wing if FP1 and it gives more DF. He said that he and stroll have different configurations(different floors at the min) and they'll look at the data after the Sprint Race to see which config to use for Quali/Race. He seemed to suggest that he and stroll used the new Front Wing in the sprint quali. It wasn't 100% clear.

They race the same floor spec, just different FWs.
But amazing how bad this team always is on sprint weeks. They barely get it right setup wise. But would not rule out a more normal picture after some changes for Q. Their simulation tools must be really bad.

Well Astons are fast in a straight line and fast in corners compared to the middle field. Stroll setup looks better but rain tomorrow so will see.
