Maybe the fuel gets approved as the planes are landing in Australia, but it doesn't seem like they would meet the March 1st deadline.

It’s not ideal though for the other teams. They go and get their fuel done by the rules, yet if you can’t get approved
By 1st of March then you get more time.

Sorry, but you should have to approve what you have and run it for the rest of the season or until there’s a new revision date.

Enough with the whole fuel approval pessimism, it'll be approved.

Edit: The chart makes sense. Mercedes will have a good advantage.

Ain’t nobody knowing what compression the teams are running. Other than those who design/build the engines

How do we know everyone else is at 15.2? From what I've heard, it's not that the others are unaware of thermal properties, and most will have figured stuff out to go down to only 15.8 or something like that.

This is wrong. They can not change it "on the fly" in June. Either it is now 16.0 or never.

Well, we do not know the value. The 15.2 is a worst case calculation without "interesting" expansion tricks. And obviously some have missed the tricks.

I guess this wisdom went missing when the whole F1 world ran with "Mercedes has 18:1" CR propaganda.

I think the point here would be that just normal people or even press would not have any idea of what the teams are doing with their engines. But I'm sure the teams themselves have much clearer information.

No one here knows. It is all just guesswork. No one in the mainstream media knows. No one knows but the engine manufacturers themselves. Go ahead and keep guessing.
