Overtaking is possible in this track. Mercedes eats its tires. I expect Mclaren to be very strong in the race. I am optimistic about Lewis overtaking Russell too. A top 3 finish possible

Can say this and that, but Charles ballsed himself up yesterday, and Q in Barcelona. Needs to sort himself out, with errors creeping in. Ham a solid job. There will be opportunities tomorrow for both to come through.

Front row was on the cards, not sure the pace was there to beat George but a fight with Oscar was defo on the cards.

Due a bit of luck so hopefully can get one car onto the podium and the other into 4th or 5th.

Did LEC see dirty air from Hadjar - yes, most likely given his comments post session, but I think it was also a case of overdriving. Unfortunate really... I think fastest of the soft tyre runners was possible today.

Missing FP1, FP2 and still quicker in FP3, Q1, Q2 and got caught by the dirty air from Hadjar in Q3 (purple in S1) come on.
We know you're a fan of hamilton, but have a little objectivity.
I can bet, Charles still finish higher than Hamilton tomorrow.

I agree, it seems like he knew he had the pace for a top three and then when he lost it because of the dirty air he ended up driving too hard to compensate and lost the lap.

His comment indicates this anyway -

I think C6's had no chance to put it on pole. He would have lost out in S2 regardless, but the lap started out really strongly. Could have definitely beaten Oscar with a perfect rest of the lap, or at the very least, put it on P4.

He backed out of the lap immediately after the dirty air issue. Charles could/should have done better in the first run. I was surprised he was 0.4 off on new tyres after the first Q3 runs.

We will see tomorrow. Enough with driver rivalry

I was surprised they didn't bring out the medium in Q3 like some of the other teams did, if they were trying to go for pole (and by Leclerc's comments it looks like they were)

Very realistic way of thinking! Fully agreed

I don't buy the dirty air excuse personally. He overcooked it in sector 1 and paid for it immediately with the somewhat clumsy turn 6-7 combo nearly putting it in the wall trying to get out of T7.

Hadjar being there was just an easy excuse.

Mercedes had the best race pace on Friday in the sims and deg looks low. I don't anticipate too much movement in the top 10 over the race without a SC intervention.
