Can say this and that, but Charles ballsed himself up yesterday, and Q in Barcelona. Needs to sort himself out, with errors creeping in. Ham a solid job. There will be opportunities tomorrow for both to come through.
Charles' only real hope is a well timed safety car. George will cook his tyres early defending Max meaning we have a DRS train of George, Max, Piastri and Hamilton or Max will clear George and run away with it. Antonelli will be a gap behind dragging Alonso, Norris and Charles. Hope for Charles is if Norris cuts his way through he might disrupt any DRS trains allowing Charles to follow. It is a shame as the car looks good this weekend.
My take for LeClerc : make up as many places off the line by starting on S, run full steam for less than 10 laps, pit, and then run in clean air on H, then strategize for the rest of the race after looking at the deg for self and others. Running into backmarkers won't be an issue as the Ferrari has enough straightline speed to use the DRS and get past traffic.

Canada really suits Lewis and he is at a good position at the start, I am positive for him. It will be interesting to see how quickly Norris will move forward.
You need to accept the fact that Lewis is not at his best due the car limitations & his driving style. He didn’t adapt to it completely & that’s why he’s struggling.

Soon or later in the race Norris & Leclerc will catch him & pass. Even If gets a good start & jump Ant, he will not be able to match the pace of Russell/Piastri/Max.

Only Norris or Leclerc can trouble top3 if Russel can hold max/piastri.
I am believing him. He slowly adapts to the car. We have seen glimpses of it. Sprint win, sprint podium and towards the middle of the races he performed good stints

Feels like a Hail Mary. I would rather start him on hards, go deep into the race and unleash new mediums as necessary. He can even be aggressive on the hards given that he has 2 sets.

I would rather he has new mediums for the final stint

I would start Lewis on brand new mediums and let him go for it

I have a feeling Leclerc will be in the wall at some stage in the race. His head does not seem fully in it this weekend. Maybe trying too hard or something.
Fully agreed

my mental capacity after watching 24 hrs is quite low, whatever result they get i will give a thumb and go to bed.. more importantly drama surrounding the team need to be cleared soon.

was really hoping that some journalist at wec today grabbed that Elkan and that ceo and asked them about these attack on there own f1 team.

Ham lost too much time at the beginning of this stint with that traffic. No mans land now. See where Charles ends up going long. Should jump Lewis with fresher tyres.

Putting Hamilton out in that traffic was horrific.

Leclerc now in front after pits because of it.

They boxed Lewis 2 laps too late, I don't know what Ferarri were doing? They have to sector times right in front of them :wtf:

Leclerc will have to take these tires longer than lap 50.

I think Charles was wrong and the pit wall have called it right, for me it was the correct decision to both pit and to go on hards...

I don't understand how Hamilton got damage? He didn't touch any other cars? Was it a bump or something?

Yep, he hit a groundhog before the hairpin.
