nick fry was saying that BAR could buy the contract . i feel that button is good but there are other drivers out there .. they should consider davidson for the seat. give him a try..
davidson to midlands? i think he will only move if button confirms his seat at BAR
there is still a question of bmw seat? who will be there with jv.. i think once buttons seat is confirm we can start seing the merry-go round

Perhaps they'd keep him if he scores podiums in all of 3 remaining races. Otherwise, there is no way that Fisichella will stay in Renault. I'd bet on that including that Montagny will replace him.

I'm wondering if Williams will take a punt on Nico Rosberg? The Brit' in me would like to see Davidson in the seat, but the head says Rosberg is a future talent and should be in an F1 seat.

I would love to see Pizzonia get the drive but I believe he will probably be put through another 'drive off' similar to last year with Heidfeld.

Fisi will stay at Renault....mark my words (with my luck he is signing a contract elsewhere as im typing this!) but heres my prediction:

Ferrari: Schu / Massa
Renault: Alonso / Fisi
Mclaren: Kimi / Montoya
Williams: Webber / Pizzonia
Toyota: Ralf / Trulli
BAR: Button / Rubens
Jordan (Midland): Davidson / Sato (I'd like to see Kartikeyan stay though)
Minardi (Red Bull US): Scott Speed / Liuzzi
Red Bull: DC / Klien
Sauber (BMW): Heidfeld / JV

I have a feeling Timo Glock may get anjother test role at Jordan...or even a race seat if the deal with Sato falls through. I also wouldn't rite off Nico Rosberg's chances in a Williams seat...a test driver perhaps? Or mayb even race seat 2?

why do u think sato will get the jordan seat? i think that sato will continue to be honda's third driver/testdriver.. who knows dan wheldon may come into play. honestly i think there is so much talent outside f1 but cant get a chance!! but we still see all these mediocare 'pay drivers'

I agree that Sato's F1 days are numbered.

Sadly, I think Fisichella is in the same situation as Trulli was last year. He has fallen out of favor with the boss.

I don't get the nature of Fisichella's problems (with car) but with his experience he still has 70 points less than Alonso!

Sato's F1 days are over. Why does everyone expect that Monteiro won't have a race seat anymore?

Read in Autosport this morning that J.V. could go to Red Bull with D.C. and Klien could partner Heidfeld at B.M.W.

Most of the F1 fans have overlooked fact that Monteiro is the first rookie ever who finished all races!
That is an outstanding achievement especially since he drives a crappy car.
Should I mention that he is the only one among all drivers in 2005 season with such achievement?

Paid or not, Monteiro has shown great consistency and it should be fair to give him a chance for another season or two. BTW, Schumacher also had his f1 debut paid for by Mercedes.

If BMW continues to choose drivers by nationality than they'll make same mistake as they did with Ralf.
