I predict the exact opposite: A predictable weekend where Mclaren is simply faster. Both of them on the podium. Max performs well but ultimately it's not enough.pantherxxx wrote: ↑05 Dec 2025, 05:12I predict that an unpredictable event will happen just like in 2021, that will cause chaos, and eventually it will be decided at the end, and Max will come out on top, and win the championship.
I bloody hope not, however I can 100% see it happening. He seems to have the luck of the devil… and indisputable driving talent…pantherxxx wrote: ↑05 Dec 2025, 05:12I predict that an unpredictable event will happen just like in 2021, that will cause chaos, and eventually it will be decided at the end, and Max will come out on top, and win the championship.
On my side I see a boring race with Norris champion.pantherxxx wrote: ↑05 Dec 2025, 05:12I predict that an unpredictable event will happen just like in 2021, that will cause chaos, and eventually it will be decided at the end, and Max will come out on top, and win the championship.
Abu is usually boring as it is simply an easy track without special requirements on car or driver. A bit like Barcelona. In the past similarly poor on overtaking, at least this is fixes (as in Barcelona), but does not really add to the excitement. Without Masi I do not see any race since Vettel that had some spice in it.
Strange comparison. I think he is still astonished himself to come that close out of the blue. Alonso was a genuine contender all 2012.

Verstappen and Red Bull are clinical, McLaren less so.venkyhere wrote: ↑05 Dec 2025, 13:51Of late, Max has been getting lucky so many times where McLarens fall away... Austin sprint, Vegas DSQ, Qatar clownshow -- at some point the law of averages has to catchup and he will stop getting lucky , and this weekend looks like the one. He anyway should be nowhere in contention for WDC, despite the Monza floor resurgence. The McL39 is the 'pinnacle of the ground effect era'.

Well in 2012 the Ferrari was much slower than the Red Bull, but Alonso did wonders to stay in the fight.
Indeed. But, crash can happen at first corner (or spin) that changes all.f1isgood wrote: ↑05 Dec 2025, 16:01I am with you.
