They often keep the radiators blocked off when they were on the grid, its probably just to stop rubbish getting in and clogging them up, does seem odd that they leave the air intake open though, maybe it is blocked but we just can't see it.

After seeing the F2007 in the gallery, I think that the car looks much tighter than the 248 F1. But what surprised me was the sidepod, it seem a bit smaller than on the 248 F1. But how fast can that car be is still a question.

Found these pics on F1 racing

YOu can see how much work they have done on the backend. It comes right in, Alot more than last year. If you look How the Chimneys come out the side pods blend back from there. There is also someting about that rear wing, But i am not sure what. MAybe a funny angle. Have to say at first glance i was not to impressed by the new car, but looking at the back end and how she is put togther, she looks really well engineered and a very good looking package. Other that the fact, that Red is Nasty. Glad the fog tones it down abit.

Also looks like they have a new system under development.

The nose looks more like the nose on the F2005, they seem to have gone back to the fatter lower nose.

Rear end is very tight but black CF heat covers/unpainted CF make it look even tighter than it actually is (we've observed same thing after launch of F248).

Damn that top down photo still amazes me - the cars are so compact and tightly packaged. Unbelieveable.

It is zero keel. Focus on points where lower wishbones meet the chassis - if that was below tub than there would be no light reflection but dark.

But the surface the lower wishbones attach to is clearly normal (at 90 deg) to the wishbone.

It might be a small twin keel design (like the 2001 sauber), but it is not zero IMO.

I think you might be right kilcoo316, it does look very much like a twin, with some kind of bell crank lower arm. I can't see it on the Sauber (Ferrari engine) but it looks very clear on the brighten pic you have there.

The pickup points on them came out of the side of the monocoque at an angle.

This pickup point is vertically below the monocoque.

Doesn't really matter though does it :)
